Queer Stockholm is a city guide and events platform operated by Studio Raphaela & Metviplay. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle data.
What data we collect
Analytics data: We use privacy-friendly analytics to count anonymous visits. This includes page views, approximate country/region, device type, and referring site. No personal identifiers (name, email, IP address) are collected.
Local preferences: We store your language choice and cookie consent decision in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device.
Contact forms: If you contact us via email or a form, we collect the information you voluntarily provide (name, email, message) solely to respond to your inquiry.
What we do NOT do
- No advertising cookies or trackers.
- No cross-site tracking or retargeting.
- No sale or sharing of personal data with third parties for marketing.
- No facial recognition or biometric data collection.
Cookies
We use a single privacy-friendly analytics cookie to understand how visitors use the site. You can reject this cookie at any time via the consent banner. Rejecting cookies does not affect your ability to use the site.
Third-party services
We embed maps and event data from Metviplay. We also link to external ticketing platforms and venue websites. Their privacy policies apply when you visit those sites.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Since most of our data is anonymous, there is typically nothing to request. If you have submitted personal data via contact forms, email us at privacy@queerstockholm.se to exercise your rights.
Data retention
Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 24 months. Contact form submissions are retained for as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry, then deleted.
