Gay bars in Stockholm

Stockholm's queer bar scene is small but mighty. 1. 1. Club Backdoor

   Directions

   Club Backdoor is one of the longest running queer clubs in Stockholm, and is located underneath Tre Arena near Globen.

2. 2. Rågsveds krog

   Directions

   Rågsveds krog is a queer bar in American diner style, located in the south of Stockholm, and hosts twice weekly karaokes on Fridays and Saturdays.

3. 3. Moxy—Nalen

   Directions

   Moxy is a sapphic club using the venue of Nalen (Nationalpalatset) in downtown Stockholm. It has a karaoke room and dance floor, and occasionally hosts tattoo artists.

4. 4. Lyckan i Tanto (seasonal)

   Directions

   Outdoor sapphic bar and restaurant, opens seasonally (spring to autumn).

5. 5. Side Track

   Directions

   Side Track is a queer speakeasy in Södermalm, and is the oldest existing queer bar in Stockholm.

6. 6. Lilith Club—Hus 7 Slakthusområdet

   Directions

7. 7. The Secret Garden

   Directions

   The Secret Garden is the most well known queer bar and club in Stockholm, located very centrally in the old town with a sunny water view of Slussen.

8. 8. Hotellhänget (variable location)

   Hotellhänget is a regular sapphic mingle in hotel lobbies. Check the Hotellhänget Facebook group for updated information on locations and times.

9. 9. Hera—variable location

   Hera is an occasional sapphic party focused on mainstream pop and techno.

10. 10. Lilith Pub (Fridays)—Sidenkällaren

    Directions

    Bar Replik is a queer bar on Hornsgatan in Södermalm.

12. 12. SLM

    Directions

    Scandinavian Leather Men (SLM) is a club for the leather men community in Stockholm. Located in Södermalm, it hosts various leather and BDSM/Kink events.
